To change the status quo it’s important to honor women’s work and fundamental accomplishments they are making today,” Miami Girls Foundation CEO, Ekaterina Jukowski, said. “Women’s names are woven into the fabric of our city as many of them have been making major contributions into the rise of Miami from the day of its founding.”
“We are honored to be part of this exciting initiative as we celebrate women’s history month,” HistoryMiami Museum director Jorge Zamanillo said. “We share and collect Miami stories, and each one of these women has a powerful story of dedication to the Miami community.”
