Ali Mejia and Mariela Rovito are co-founders of Eberjey, a fashion company started in 1996. Eberjey was created by Ali Mejia and Mariela Rovito, while they were in their early twenties, with the goal to offer a line of underpinnings that was the antithesis of the typical lingerie brand’s va-va-voom image. They believed that the layer worn closest to the heart should express joy, love and confidence– all the things that make a woman truly beautiful. And with those pillars, they laid the foundation of a company for women, by women, whose mission was clear: to make pretty little things that make women feel fabulous. Today that mission is well underway, thanks in no small part to the Press, Hollywood, and Blogosphere, who have embraced the brand with open arms– featuring it regularly in fashion magazines, blogs, TV shows, and blockbuster films. And of course its fanatical customer base that catapulted the brand from a well-kept secret enjoyed by a few to a lifestyle brand that is enjoyed by many, collected with passion, and gifted with love! Eberjey is sold in over 1,200 specialty stores worldwide, as well as in leading Department Stores. Fabrics and laces are sourced from all corners of the globe in order to find the perfectly soft feel and delicately feminine aesthetic that has come to be known as Eberjey.
