Ruth Shack, who spent her life fighting for the arts, historic preservation, and civil rights in Miami is an inspiration to many Miami leaders working on creating a better future for the city. Every year Miami Foundation recognizes outstanding leadership by a nonprofit professional age 40 or younger with Ruth Shack Leadership Award.
